Sunrisers Hyderabad have signed South Africa pacer Gerald Coetzee as an injury replacement for David Payne. Payne played two matches for the franchise this season before being @L0$ due to an ankle injury.
Coetzee, who was @L1$, has previously played for Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans in the IPL and has picked up 15 wickets in 14 matches. The 25-year-old was a part of South Africa's T20 World Cup squad but did not feature in a game. He did, however, play all five T20Is against New Zealand following the marquee event. Coetzee will join SRH at INR 2 crore.
Meanwhile, SRH were also boosted by the arrival of skipper Pat Cummins. He joined their squad on Friday, April 17 and @L2$ for their game against the Rajasthan Royals on April 25. They are currently placed 5th on the points table and will face the Chennai Super Kings later today (April 18).
