His explosive and controlled innings ensured a comfortable chase and gave Chennai Super Kings an important victory in the IPL 2026 season.
Final Thoughts
This victory gives Chennai Super Kings valuable momentum as the tournament heads toward the business end. Sanju Samson’s sensational form with the bat and the disciplined CSK bowling attack proved too strong for Delhi Capitals.
For Delhi Capitals, the lack of partnerships and inability to accelerate consistently hurt them badly. They will now need a strong comeback in their upcoming matches to stay alive in the playoff race.
