The BCCI on Wednesday (May 6) mapped out a busy home season for its pathway sides, spanning the men's and women's 'A' teams as well as the U19 setups.
India A Women will host Australia A Women from September 12 across Mohali and Dharamsala, before taking on England A Women later in the season in Pune and Navi Mumbai. Both series will be multi-format, featuring three T20s, three one-day games and a multi-day fixture.
The senior women's side will then welcome Zimbabwe in October for the first-ever women's bilateral contest between these two teams. The six-match white-ball series will feature three T20Is in Raipur and as many ODIs in Baroda.
On the men's side, India A will face Australia A from September 22, with Puducherry hosting the entire series. The tour comprises two four-day matches and three one-day games, continuing the emphasis on red-ball development alongside 50-over cricket in the lead-up to next year's ODI World Cup.
At the age-group level, India U19 Men will host Australia U19 for a five-match tour. Rajkot will stage the three one-dayers, while the two multi-day fixtures will be split between Rajkot and Ahmedabad.
Meanwhile, the India U19 Women's team will also have two home assignments. They begin with a six-match white-ball series against Sri Lanka Women U19 across Chennai and Puducherry in June and July, before hosting England U19 Women for a five-match T20 series in Baroda and Surat in November and December.
