Cricbuzz understands that the franchise will communicate with the players on Saturday evening, as much with Arshdeep, and seek their compliance with the recently issued advisory of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Arshdeep, the India and Punjab Kings pacer, has been an active vlogger with over six million followers on Instagram. He is known for regularly posting reels that are quite popular on social media, something that has caught the attention of the managers and officials of the BCCI. Going forward, videos will be produced and posted only through the franchise's official handles.
Punjab Kings will hold a meeting with the players on Saturday evening after practice at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala and obtain their signatures confirming compliance with the new guidelines.
It is understood that a co-owner of Punjab Kings was initially expected to address the players at the meeting. However, it is learnt that the owner was unable to reach Dharamsala because of a flight diversion. Franchise CEO Satish Menon will now formally brief the players and seek their commitment to adhering to the guidelines.
