B0$ Punjab Kings start their campaign with a win at their home ground. Priyansh Arya got off the mark with a maximum but Rabada nipped him out with a pacy short ball. Cooper Connolly walked in to join Prabhsimran Singh and the pair batted aggressively. It started with an assault against Rabada where they smashed three sixes in an over and boundaries kept coming at regular intervals. Rashid ended the 76-run partnership when Prabhsimran holed out. Connolly, on IPL debut, meanwhile carried on. Some of his sixes looked effortless.
